Avast Virus Message

Good morning


I have twice accessed my UK bank this morning, each time Avast comes up with a message that it has just prevented a virus. It then tells me all is good now. But I am sure that someone told me previously that it this happens each time you go into one specific site and this message is repeated that you already perhaps have a virus or some other problem.


Any help much appreciated and please remember I am not a whiz technically!

Never had this problem but try running an online virus scanner such as Housecall from TrendMicro (http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ ).

I have accounts with Shabby National and WatNest and Avast lets me access their sites w/o a warning.
