Awning repair

We have stores over several windows. I think “awning” is the correct English term. Oblongs of fabric on metal frames, which are hinged at the top and can be lowered and raised by use of a length of twine.

One length of twine broke today and another is looking a bit feeble.

What sort of artisan would do repairs like that?

Try a local tapisserier. If they don’t do it themselves (some are just interior) they may well know who does.

Or see if a storiste locally
