Anyone reading my comments a few weeks ago regarding waiting for the Bailiffs due to AXA completely ignoring my registered letters notifying my agent and client relations of wishing to cancel my car insurances as I was moving to Spain, well got some response from customer services , only after complaining on Twitter and Facebook about the dreadful service I have experienced. Seems they will 'hold off the bailiffs' whilst they look into my case! how kind; Has taken a year to get some sort of message, however they did request I send them copies of the original letters and recorded letter slips! Cant beleieve how many times I have sent them previously .I have told their client services to get these, from the agent who chose to ignore my request from the beginning or search their files from the numerous departments I have written too;Not sure how many other people have the same problem, but it is just ridiculous; How these companies function , I have no idea, well they certainly have no skills in treating a customer with some respect;;;thank goodness I have never tried to make an insurance claim;;;what chance would you have!Referring the whole matter to the European small claims procedure for litigation and business complaints if they dont get their fingers out and end this situation.....sorry AXA Spain you are the losers as I wouldnt touch you, after the experience with your French bureau........nothing personal! so I still sit waiting to get on with my new life in Spain and making a bonfire of all the copies of the paperwork that I have had to send since June last year. Incidentally out of frustration even wrote to the President Dirctor General of AXA France requesting he might be able to refer my complaint to some department, but ofcourse I didnt get a sniff of a reply.....what a surprise!
Sorry about your problem, what is with these companies, they create such bad publicity; I have just received an email from AXA gratiously saying they will terminate my contracts and
PLEASE DON'T TALK TO ME ABOUT AXA, I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE.
I CANCELLED MY INSURANCE POLICY BACK IN JUNE OF LAST YEAR ALONG WITH MY HUSBANDS ( BY THE WAY THIS INSURANCE WAS A MIS-SOLD POLICY) AND AXE HAVE DECIDED TO TAKE MY MONTHLY PAYMENTS FROM MY BANK IN SPITE OF MY SENDING THEM A LETTER AT THE BEGINNING OF THE YEAR REMINDING THEM THAT THE POLICY HAS BEEN CANCELLED. THEY OWE ME A FEW HUNDRED EUROS, BY DO YOU THINK THEY WILL PAY IT TO ME IMMEDIATELY.

INSURANCES COMPANIES ARE QUICK ENOUGH TO TAKE YOUR MONEY, BUT NOT TO PAY OUT OR RE-EMBURSE WHEN NECESSARY OR MISTAKES ARE MAD.
