If it comes to a choice between LFI and RN, then LFI will win due to there having been less bad publicity over the years concerning LFI than RN.
I’m even more aghast that anyone would vote for someone that’s been convicted of dishonesty. The bar for conviction being pretty high.
But they did for Trump.

RN would sit on the right side of the US Republicans, so very much Red.
A lot of this is behind a paywall but there’s enough to get the story that the English and French versions of their agreement are quite different.
