At home with mum and dad in the olden days, we used to be treated to Chocolate Bath Olivers at Christmas. I’d be willing to pay over the odds for a packet now!
Jacob’s Cornish wafers don’t come from Cornwall, Chris. Apparently they are difficult to find now. Especially in the mixed boxes of crackers for cheese.
I expect Charles eats Duchy originals.
My grandfather was a grocer and owned the village shop before supermarkets materialised.
Myself and my siblings loved to spend time wirkibg in what was a very busy shop in Somerset.
I remember watching grandad cutting up a truckle of real cheddar cheese made at his cousins farm at cheddar on many occasions.
Our favourite way of eating the cheese was with Bath Oliver biscuits or Dorset Knobs, grandad sold both in his shop.
You’re right there. They’re made in Liverpool. (The majority of Jacob’s savory snacks and wafers are produced at their major manufacturing facilities in the UK—most notably at their Aintree factory in Liverpool)
