I donā€™t think thatā€™s a fair criticism of the BBC. Itā€™s very much news of the moment.

I donā€™t think the French media are greatly obsessed with what is happening in the UK.
This was a terrible outcome to what could have been no more than an unpleasant dispute. It is unlikely that the assailant set out to commit murder, but resorting to violence can have unintended results.
