Hello dogs lovers
I have just joined SFN and I already have a question. Could somebody tell me on which beaches we are allowed to take our dogs. We leave near Carcassonne and last year we tried Gruissan and others but were asked to leave.
Hope one of you can help me

Thank you very much Mary. Port La Nouvelle is our favourite town when we want to eat fish but we did not realise that dogs can run on part of the beach. We will try Leucate as well. We are in UK at the moment but getting ready for our summer in France.
Your Callie looks beautiful. We have a Welsh terrier called Megan. I will try and post a photo

There are wonderful beaches at Port La Nouvelle and Lecate where dogs can run free.
The Port La Nouvelle beach is a bit south of town – not the one right across from the restaurants.
