Have a great weekend everyone!
Thanks James - same to you guys. Off to sunny Spain - canāt take it any longer - need some vitamin D !! :-
Et Ć vous aussi!!
Actually, that makes me think - given the conversation about learning a language, perhaps there should be a category for posts in French?
Cāest une bonne idĆ©e, comment lāappeler?
Iām guessing we will learn a lot about our language skills!
On peut la nommer simplement āEn FranƧaisā
ok pourquoi pas!
Itās going to be a glorious weekendā¦
Iāve spent 3 hours at the hairdresser this afternoon⦠my head is ringing with all that wonderful French tittle-tattle⦠and OH is so chuffed with my new-look⦠that he is escorting me to the Bal tomorrow night. (OK, so weāll end up behind the bar, but it will still be fun).
Jāy suis dāaccord, malgrĆ© mes graves doutes de ma compĆ©tence
Et voila! Cāest fait!
I have been looking forward to this weekend - we are flying into Bordeaux to spend the long weekend at our place.
Heaps here last couple a days Simon, burned ma heid cuttinā tā grass
Ave a guid time Mon, and Mrs
Well it canāt be worse than here can it. Totally fed up with lack of sun. You are missing nothing here today. From the look of the sky Limoux will be underwater by the end of the day!
Have fun en Espagne!
Beautiful sunny morning, SE56, breakfast on the terrace, been the same for a few days, long may it last
Getting a gite ready today, tomorrow ā¦
Thanks James, the same to you and yours.
I managed to work in the garden yesterday despite the cold start, so today I will be relaxing in the sunshine. Tomorrow visiting a brocante and looking for bargains ā¦
I visit brocantes with my hands tied behind my back. My trouble is I see things that I really want⦠and OH says⦠weāve got that up in the loft ā¦and more than often, we have
I have been having a massive clear out during the bad weather (still not finished, but it can wait) and will be attending a Brocante later in the year as a seller. Have done this with friends for a few years now, we have stands next to each other and share lunch, aperos, wine etc. Hard work (especially setting off at 5h30) but can be fun and have had some āinterestingā encounters.
The money I make (sometimes very little) goes into a pot for lunch out when enough has accumulated.
Found a bargain recently, a lovely 3 seater metal bench for the garden, 10 euros including the cushion, looks great
Since reading a book about Feng Shui I have tried to put it into practise. We all hang onto things thatā might be usefulā, might be able to fit into with a diet
These things get shoved to the back of a cupboard or stored in a carton and are still there every clear out. I now consider that if they havenāt been used in the last 3 or 4 years then its unlikely they will ever be used.
When I shuffle off this mortal coil, as Del Boy says, I donāt want someone to have to clear through all my āstockā.
Having said that I would love to have a poke around in your loft Stella
An absolute addict, I have to be very selective now, or we will need to move, some incredible bargains to be had, my barograph is the latest, I will have a lot of pleasure out of that for 60 ābing bangsā
It seems āEn Franglaisā would have had more traction.
Was my French really that bad? (no need to reply, I know the answer).
