Boris Johnson - liar, fraud and just plain stupid

There’s also the matter of Charlotte Owen, who did get awarded a peerage in Boris’s resignation “honours” - a 29-year-old researcher who worked for Boris for a couple of years and was (even more briefly) a “special adviser” to Liz Truss.

She will be the youngest ever life peer. One wonders what she’s got on Boris that merits that kind of payback. It can’t be a reward for a lifetime of public service, that’s for sure…

This is being referred to in Westminster as a ‘Horizontal Peerage’ although I really have no idea what that means.

Reports in media that the tories are divided over Boris, that can only mean there are even more tossers in the conservative party than Boris. Bin the feckin lot of them!

I expect she’s another of these experts in Ugandan affairs, always busy discussing them with BJ.

I think you missed a  there Brian

If not, you’re a man of the world, use your imagination

The two most common theories are that she’s a secret child of his or that the collaboration was, indeed, horizontal.

The more deeply cynical (moi, surely not) have suggested that, knowing Johnson, both being true is not totally outwith the bounds of believability.

I see the clown has returned to a job he is capable of - writing for the Fail. Six figure sum apparently. No decisions or details to worry about.

He won’t get sacked from there for being short on the truth.

A marriage made in hell

I think he would be really good at taking over from Lily Savage on Blankety Blank. Lycra and a wig, now there’s a frightening image.

As part of a trade deal with the US Trump and Johnson should be forced to share a cell, a very small one.

Best episode of HIGNFY we’ve watched for some time. Some interesting observations - like the honours inclusion for a 29 year old woman who had served less than two years in the Policy Unit at No10. She will be the youngest ever peer ever appointed.

Apparently if Trump is pardoned, as some Republican Presidential candidates say they will if he found guilty, he has to agree that he is actually guilty for that to be enabled.
The American commentator could not see that happening.

Just seeing the trend of topics appearing on here today - Boris Johnson, Conspiracy Theories and Earthquakes………absolutely no coincidence about this!

So inevitably exactly one week on from the globally significant resignations of Boris Johnson and Nadine Dorries - there is an earthquake in a neighbouring country to act as a warning to the unappreciative people of UK of the immense forces they are messing with.

I am sure this all makes sense to someone, somewhere.

:joy: well both Johnson and Trump spout like volcanoes, whilst seeking to cover their tracks with a thin layer of ash we can all see through.

I imagine Mrs Johnson (the present incumbent of that dubious title) has put a stop to Ugandan discussions, but these can be very quick. Bit tricky though, THINK of the price of her story . Nadine Dorries was very disparaging about the house of lords, saying it should be banned; now she wailing because Johnson didn’t give her one, ho hum take that as you wish.

Not so sure about that:wink::rofl:
