Good value.
Thanks - that is the selection I like, good to see they are doing it again. I will buy a couple tomorrow.
Understandable - it was very well hidden in the publicity - just directly above the one I took a photo of!!
Just relieved they have it again.
Our local Lidl sells a German brewed British style IPA, red beer and Stout - 99c for a 500ml can.
You had my interest right up to the C word, at which point it rapidly headed the other way.
Adnams for me every time.

Ah yes… happy days for us at Southwold…
and the dray horses, pulling the wagons … magnificent sight.
For some reason I thought you’d put up something from Roy’s of Wroxham… another lovely place… or did I dream that ??
Yes Stella, I lived not too far from Southwold and Aldeburgh etc and loved going there to eat and spend the day Probably one of the few things I miss about Blighty.
When I was a student I had a summer / holiday / weekend job on a dray wagon as the drivers mate. Two days each week were spent delivering to pubs in that area.
Probably the best job in the world

A lifetime ago, my elder sister worked as secretary to John Adnams…
Blimey.
Their more modern visitor centre with shop and tea shop etc is excellent.
Reminds me of the joke about the difference between a war horse and a cart horse.
But yes, Southwold is a nice place. We stayed a couple of times at a friends place in Walberswick, just across the river.
Wobbleswick.
Some excellent pubs/pub grub in the area.
In another lifetime… friends would row across from Walberswick, to The Harbour Inn at Southwold and we spent many a fun evening there. In fact, I think that is where I made a solemn promise to myself never to mix my drinks… never again!
sick as a dog I was… aaaargh.
I managed to pick up 3 boxes of the 12x beers at Lidl Libourne this morning. Should keep me going for a while.

Loving the early stages of the Commonwealth Games. Well done Birmingham!
Opening Ceremony was fantastic, like the recent Jubilee celebrations the big stuff we do well its just the inbetween stuff where we let ourselves down. French authorities in Paris for the Champions League Final take note!!!
Weren’t their similar scenes at Wembley for the Euros final? I wonder if the sport being played has more to do with it?
Absolutely not, with respect get your facts right. At Wembley , fans ran amok, without tear gas being sprayed at them. In Paris well behaved fans were indiscrimately sprayed and attacked by so called French authorities. Fortunately it is now on public record.
Which facts were incorrect?
