Orange have a combined cable and phone router maybe for the same reason. My sim card router is obviously via the 4g network and that varies these days from 35mbs down to around 12mbs on a bad day. Was faster but I feel they have slowed things in order to sell their fibre service. Hope to put up the omni directional external aerial to see if I can improve the overall performance as router has to sit on the window cill currently.
You’d be better of with a directional antenna pointed at your nearest base station.
The Open Signal app should show you where this is unless you already know, then it’s Google Maps and a compass.
Haha, exactly what I had in the past, but they alternate between 3 possible aerials just to pee me off hence new one is omni directional

I’m used to 4G modem users only having the one local cell.
Tried rebooting your machines and your router too ??
