Hello all, any advice on buying a second hand moped/scooter would be greatly appreciated. We know nothing about them and although it looks like we don’t need a permit, confirmation/clarification of the legal position would be very welcome too. My husband and I have just moved to Ramatuelle, in the Var and just want it for trips to the beach and other brief journeys nowhere near the mad roads around St. Tropez. We are both British, in our late 40’s with long term UK licences, and have our carte sejour application interview in a few weeks. Better still, if anyone is local and selling one, or knows of a good dealership who will have cheap ones, then fabulous! Thanks in advance guys
