Hi everyone. We are about to buy a used caravan. I have read about and downloaded the certificate of cession. Then I have read I need to take this to the prefecture with carte grise, proof of address and passport - does anyone know if this can be to any prefecture or the one in our own area, can I just turn up or do I need an appointment, can I send the documents rather than visit? Any ideas gratefully received!!

You can’t do it at the/any préfecture any more. Its all online via the ANTS website
