We just heard something on the radio today that is French electioneering beginning. Mr Sarko has just acknowledged the 1,400,000 hunters in France by lifting the ban on hunting two normally protected bird species and extending the season for something else. Just when 29 February was in sight the president pulls apunch likes this. Does anyone suspect he might be trying to get 1.4 million supporters for his re-election?
Oh yes, to add to this Claude Gueant's speech about not all civilisations (meaning societies ) are equal, playing into the hands of the far right... Looks like it is going to be fisticuffs up this spring!
