Yet a further blow to our finances as we are about to start an ausyere 2012 - a letter through the door today informing us that we will lose our CAF allowance next month. We were under the impression that whilst our eldest was still in full time education we were entitled to the allowance until he was 26 (max) or unless we substituted it for an allowance towards his accommodation at uni. The letter however tells us that now he is 20 we are not eligible for anything even though he is only in Year 2 of his course. Can anyone shed any light on this?
