Can someone help to identify this?

I went to sites like the one @Wozza suggested a couple of weeks back but never managed to work out what the piles of “droppings” were. Wrong shape for deer, too big for badger and goat etc etc. If anyone has a really comprehensive book then I really would be interested

(Nearest description could be a smaller version of horse poo, with straw embedded… hmmm…)

Frankly… to do a proper identification… I need to see a size comparison… a simple photo doesn’t do much for me…
of course, when observing poo in the flesh (so to speak) one can see at a glance the size of each amazing bit… and the brain can the whizz through its filing cabinet and relate what it is seeing to what it already knows… (all that info from so many books, lodged in those little grey cells…)

So… please can we have some photos, with a 50 cents coin (or something equally suitable) for comparison perhaps…   :+1:

Too late for the last batch but will remember it for the next time we get such “calling cards”! Thanks, Stella
