I had a similar problem yesterday I think it was. I quoted a post and then tried to comment on the quote but kept getting a yellow banner saying that a post can’t be empty. I then realised that the software thought I was commenting within the quote. It was true that it was there but I retried several times and realised that even though I was very careful to comment in the main body it kept migrating into the quote thereby appearing as if it was all quote and no comment.
I finally got round it by scrapping the whole thing and starting again.

I think it what @David_Spardo said, but I will try, although I have posted with a quote 
To screenshot the current window in Windows 10 or 11, press Alt + Print Screen (PrtScn) together.
That will put the image in the clipboard then you can “paste” it into a post.
