Before selling your car, collect information about what's necessary to register a UK car in France (on SFN for example). If you are unaware of what's required, would be buyers will tell you tales about necessary modifications in order to get your car for nothing.

There's a Facebook group called cars vans and bikes for sale South West France run by an English estate agency employee in the area, I've just bought a French LHD car from an English seller on there, and I've seen rhd drives on there too.
