Could anyone suggest campsites in pleasant areas around Limoges and inland from Perpignan?
We don’t have a caravan or campervan. Somewhere small scale where we could pitch a tent under tree cover would be ideal. The plan is to spend some time in a gite/s and the rest camping.
Any news on the current situation with campsites.
We plan to be in France in mid August or very early September but realise only too well this itinerary may be rendered impossible by Covid restrictions.
We have hedged our bets with ferry crossings.
It’s not a holiday per se else we would forget this year entirely.
Our village campsite would probably suit, but now won’t be opening this year.
We’re not around Limoges, but further south ; & inland from Perpignan.
I’ve booked a campsite inland from Perpignan. In the event of Covid disruption they will provide a voucher lasting 18 months.
We haven’t been camping for years. At least with us taking the car we will have plenty of room for everything we need. We have a spell in a gite after that so some comfort to look forward to. Fingers crossed it will happen.
