I had no idea this was going to come back to bite me….
I am trying to register for electronic invoice issuing, as required from September. OK, found a supplier, I now need an avis de situation from INSEE.
Oh dear. INSEE have got my details wrong, with my names in the wrong order and with my surname misspelt too. So if I try to use France Connect, it can’t find a Kirkbi Andrea, therefore I can’t log on to INSEE. Because I can’t log on to INSEE, I can’t correct the incorrect information. I sent them a message; they replied, telling me to log on… For similar reasons I can’t use the guichet unique.
I think URSSAF are partly responsible for this, as there were mistakes in their system too, which they corrected after I insisted. But I have no idea whether they are able to do anything.
It may on the whole be easier to close the whole business down and start a new one. But is there any cost associated with this?
Any advice would be useful!
