my CFE taxe just came in and it has gone up 60%.
Does anyone know how it is calculated so I can work out if this is correct

Firstly, this is a tax that varies across the country so you need to look up whether your area have voted a big increase.

And then it is also based on bands of income. So if your turnover has just crossed a threshold you would be in a different band.
Other than that it is calculated on the sq metre of that your business occupies and the “valeur locative”. So if either of those have gone up then so will your bill.
