Changing US Tax status of foreign wife

Looking at removing “Resident Alien” for my spouse (an option) and going non-resident. Anyone have experience with this?

Daniel - most of us on here are Brits I think, and the UK has no status anything like Resident Alien, it’s a uniquely US thing AFAIK.
But I think there are a few Yanks who stop by so maybe they will be able to help.

Thanks Stella(mum😊), Yep, back ok but no electricity, no phone or internet, big thunderstorm Tuesday night apparently. Orange were great, got a new livebox within a couple of hours.
