Our three daughters are joining us for our first Christmas in France. We live about 2 hours from the Tarascon/Ax-les-Thermes area of the Pyrenees - a bit further from the Bagnères area. The girls - none of whom have any previous experience - like to try their hand [or rather legs!] at skiing for two or three days just before Christmas. It needs to be somewhere where there's a decent spa and bars for myself and wife [and them if they don't like skiing and not too expensive. Self-catering or hotels considered.
Any suggestions?
