Chocolate marquise recipe

I don’t recognise that at all.

Hi Jane, first time contributing, tres exciting! Did you ever have the joy of PTP in Derbyshire? Flagg races in the Peak District were run until just a few years ago (when watering became too difficult), the hunt race was jumped over stone walls and the whole course was visible from rocks above the course. It was always run on Easter Tuesday and being in the Peak District there would often be snow and/or bright sunshine! Such fun!

No, I have to confess that I have never been to the Peak District. I lived on the Lancashire/Westmorland border and so Windermere was only half an hour away.
The Hunt in the Lake District was on foot, Coniston Hunt.
Interestingly the song D’ye ken John Peel is wrong in giving him a coat so gay, it was gray as it was made from Herdwick wool and beautifuly water and wind proof.
Nearer to us it was Lune Valley and my cousin was Hunt Secretary for some time.
When we lived in Stroud there were four local Hunts, the Cotswold, the Beaufort, the Vale of the White Horse and the Berkeley.
