For every one who likes singing here is a good advice to learn French in a fun way: go sing with a choir. About six years ago I joined the one of my village, about 30 people from several villages around. After my son was born I couldn’t make it with the rehersals and concerts, but since september I’m in again, now with a small group of nine… since a Scot joined us. When we sing a hymn of the countryside here (Occitanie) we should not sing with them 
As also the Italian lady who sings with us.
We’re not a church choir, most of the songs are welknown French songs. And sometimes… in FrAnglais. So I got the lyrics of “Summertime” in French phonetic script.
