And we’ve built up a fantastic relationship wit the expat community in France both trade and retail over the last 8 years.
What we would like to expand in would be ‘Christmas supplies’ this would be door to door anywhere in France … supplying potentially;
Turkeys, Ham, sausages
Mince meat, mince pies, Christmas puddings
Christmas decorations
Crackers
Advent calendars
Cranberry sauce
Stuffing etc
And other Christmas supplies that people may not be able to get hold of for a classic British Christmas!
We would love to hear feedback from if to know if this kind of thing would be of service - a website where you could put an order through of what you wanted and have it delivered to your door!
Hmmm…I think that exists already. I haven’t used it but the British Corner Shop deliver a wide range of foodstuffs, such as Waitrose products including their full christmas range. They don’t have crackers, but you can get them in France now.
And they do free delivery if you spend over £100, we find them very good value for money and I think any start up business would have to do very well to compete against them.
Good luck to Kate on her new venture is is always good to some competition.
