We are looking for shots capturing the mood and feel of flowers, preferably in a natural setting (although not exclusively).
David is a professional award winning photographer. His specialism is in the world of floral design and has published many photographic books. He was made “Photographer of the Year” by The Garden Media Guild in 2004 and awarded a literary prize in 2006. David is a master of lighting and his floral design photographs are often mistaken for oil paintings. Known throughout the world by top international floral designers and specialist interest groups, his richly photographed books are a delight. Best sellers “Spirit of the Rose” “Beyond Mere Words” & “A Flower In My Hand” plus many more.
His work shows great creative empathy, a love of the organic and of landscape, of ordinary people in everyday surroundings. Whether taking spontaneous portraits or styled images his work above all has integrity. He often gives illustrated lecture tours for the Royal Horticultural Society and he also runs photography workshops in the UK and the South of France.
