Very nice Stella I did make time to listen to much of it, but, not having any musical talent myself I find myself wondering what is the point of a conductor when half the time his gesticulations and expressions do not seem to bear any relation to the music, and most of the excellent musicians are not watching him anyway, more concentrating on reading the music before them. A thing of wonder to me also, how can they do that and still produce such wonderful music at the same time?
The fireworks were spectacular though. And the final cello/piano duet. :joy:

I can now confirm that Television Co has put the whole concert on YouTube (or however it’s spelt) with Stéphane Bern as the Presenter…
so you can now enjoy listening to ramblings in French… :+1:

Hurrah… I do enjoy that man’s presentation on TV (reminds me of Terry Wogan)
