Contributing to French pension while tax resident in UK

Hi,
I’m new to the group and hoping someone can help. I lived in France for 18 years and contributed to the French pension system all that time as a self-employed person. In 2023 I moved back to the UK following a bereavement. I would like to be able to continue building up my French pension pot though, and am wondering if it’s possible to keep paying top-up contributions (similar to how it works in the UK as I had been topping up my UK pension while living in France). Thanks for your help!

This is some information about buying extra trimestres, so have a look to see if you fit one of the categories. (Hopefully not the one about bing in a TB sanitarium)

Thanks Jane, this looks helpful. I’ll have a thorough read when I get a minute. Much appreciated

Hi.

Can we help you with UK and French pension matters?

We don’t know what to tell you because you haven’t asked anything. Who do you have your pension or pensions with, in the UK and France?

I think Jane sorted Fhinchy out, didn’t she?

We briefly had a user (or perhaps a bot) posting strange messages to this thread. They’ve been shown the door now and their post deleted, hence it looks Jennifer was replying to someone else.
