I seem to remember that the question of whether or not to extend the TV tax in France to computers was discussed many many years ago. I think it was around the time our eldest moved away from home which would make it around 2013.
It’s regularly revived as a topic of discussion… by one government department or another…
I think I’ve seen it again relatively recently… not sure where…
It’s in the French Press from time to time… let’s face it, when funds are scarce every avenue/possibility of generating income is going to be thought about…
