Thank you Stella, yes 15 kms away and there is a big pharmacy there. I’ll check it out in the week. DId it say that they do the jabs or just supply the vaccine as with the flu?

Nothing nearer than those and I will avoid the infirmieres as they normally require a phone call, leave a message and ring me back. Something I avoid if possible with my dodgy hearing.
The pharmacie is the one I know and I will go there on Monday to enquire if I can make a booking. Can’t get it done till after the 31st of November though, so may not be a problem.
Give me a chance to call in at the audition centre at the same time too. I had a rdv there last Monday but the specialist was off sick. I can avoid them calling me with a new rdv and ask for a text instead. Strange that they phoned me with the postponement, knowing as they do that my main problem is with the telephone.

Yes. I heard this from a friend in Singapore, then read about it on Midi Libre. So it has arrived in France.
Worryingly, Singapore’s population is very vaccinated, recent variant boosters as well. And yet, people are falling ill all over. The good news is that it doesn’t seem to be fatal, so Stella’s suggestion regarding masks for all may well be imposed again.

We just need to realise that the vaccinations do not stop transmission, possibly the best coverup of this decade but the truth came out and what we feared is true as it had to be simply by the numbers

Certainly wear masks as we did in close company. There never was any conclusive evidence from either the Spanish university or the Israeli university that you could contract it from surfaces as the viral load wasnt sufficient but that was the original strain.
Certainly if you are older and/or with pre existing conditions then you might consider another jab but thats not without risk either it seems so ya takes your chances.
Seeing as America is still experimenting with creating new virus from the original covid we should be very worried as they have created one that killed 80% of their test mice where the covid virus killed none. Stupid dangerous gain a function experimentation and for what end? This experimentation needs to stop.

I know I have a bee in my bonnet about this but I was SO pleased to see that @stella posted a link to the sante website. So many people seem to think that Doctolib is the main/only portal to medical services and it so very much isn’t! We took a friend to Coutances last week to try to find appointments with two different specialists. One was private and ws listed in Maiia.com but not Doctolib, and the other was a (public) hospital specialist who wasn’t listed in either…
RDV contre covid on the 6th of December for both of us and for the audition test on the 14th. Both in the morning.
What happens if your audition isnt good enough, do they give your jab to another auditionee

It’ll be too late for that, as the jab comes a week before the audition test. In any case I don’t think they were planning to give me the jab through the ear.
