Moving to Brittany permanently soon. I have a Credit Agricole account and can view my account online, but I cannot seem to do much else. I found a page for additional registration and it seems the mobile phone number is in a French format only. Do you think I will need a French mobile number before I can register?

The mobile number is mostly used for texting you a code in order to validate online transactions. Not every online transaction requires this but quite a lot do. It seems not unlikely that it's configured to only accept French format numbers, aIthough think in fact you can register a French landline as well.
