Customer Service x 2

OH wanted a new battery and strap for her watch. Avoiding the manufacturer's shop in local Grande Surface, we went to a small locak guy. He could do the battery but not the strap and said we should go to see if strap was available before changing the battery which would cost 12-14€. In the main shop the assistant said straight off we were better off buying a new watch as the cost of the straps were silly and by the the time we added a battery, it would cost more than a new watch.

Most impressed

:-D

When I retired to my field in rural France, the first thing I did was dump my watch!

punaise il y a des limites !!! :-O

Un verre de vin inclus?

no, Vic, that includes labour - cheap at half the price too ;-)

Yeah but if you change the battery for your clients do you charge 'em 8-10 euros labour? Mind you I suppose it's only the cost of a packet of fags these days. ;-)

Have given the same advice in my tabac many times - pile 4,80€ + bracelet 12,50€... if it's a cheap watch it just ain't worth it ;-)
