I went to the Dead Sea in the '80s when on a Kibbutz. I went back last year with Mrs M the difference was shocking and sad, not withstanding the 30m hike down a mud track.
I went to Tel Aviv on the back of a Hairy Bikers programme. Falafels to die for!
