I know so many kids who thoroughly enjoyed this sort of thing… and I’ve had a kit at the back of the cupboard for years… I’ll get round to it one day…
I did a couple when i was …hmm not sure 12 ? my father and grandfather liked doing them. The small pots of paint went gooey after being opened once or twice…thereafter like painting with molasses.
I obviously needed thinners, but didn’t realize it.

I got one for Christmas once.
…no, I never did, but remember when Andy Warhol killed the sniffy criticism of the kits, early sixties. He did a few, now in the Warhol museum. And MOMA N.Y
