Seriously, alcohol in so many forms goes into so many delicious foods here in France, there must be someone who can profit from this..
EDIT: just got a delicious, tasty gift from a neighbour, with a definite alcohol niff to it.. 
I’m sure that would be seen as cruel and unusual punishment, meriting a visit to the ECHR
