Do you have a Chippy Van In Your Area?

Fish and chips it seems, are one of the British foods that the French have taken to their hearts - in our area at least.
We have two vans in our area, and it amazes me to see how popular they are.
Karen and Christophe run their "Kaycee's Bistro Bus" and produces some top notch meals.
I wrote about their culinary travels a while ago for Flavour Magazine.
Do you have a fish and chip van near you? Here's the piece.

Well if it’s any consolation, I haven’t been to either of them for months.
Bit more of a winter thing for me.

Well Helen, You’re just making it worse!!!

I am ashamed to admit, be we have two vans! Demand is high it seems. It’s not just fish, but sausage in batter, kebabs, scampi but very sadly, no pies, pasties or sausage rolls.Tons of onion rings, curry sauce and mushy peas though!

Wow! I am just so jealous. Whenever I go to visit my family in Liverpool its the first thing I ask for. They are always trying to impress me with the latest little French Bistro to open up and all I want is crunchy, golden, steaming, calorie laden Fish and Chips!!!
