Doctor forced by the Health Ministry to change my medication

Well the hospital are being dim.

“Néanmoins, dans certains cas, notamment lorsque le diagnostic est établi lors d’une hospitalisation ou dans un contexte d’urgence, un médecin autre que votre médecin traitant peut établir ce protocole de soins.”

But your MT can’t update your card, it has to be cleared centrally and then you just do a mise à jour. I think my last renewal took a week.

I agree. A number of my ALD’s were actioned by the hospital without the intervention of the MT. Although, that said, ISTR that my MT signed the protocol after it had been approved and handed it over on the next contrôle.
I don’t think those forms are now issued as stated earlier  .

With my previous experience of my MT I hoped the hospital would be helpful.
It’s bad enough not being 100% without folk being un helpful too.

I now have my ALD for my asthma. Apparently the CPAM refused it the first time my MT applied for it, even though they knew that my specialist had prescribed this expensive drug. It is just in time because I am having the first injection and a CT scan on Tuesday.
This is the third time that the CPAM has been wrong with regard to my medical status and I hope it will be the last.
Firstly they refused my application to go to UK for treatment on the grounds that I was an S1 holder in the French system. That was when I took them to the European Commission on behalf of all retirees living in France. I won even though it took two years. They said that they had misunderstood the regulation. The second was when, like many of us, they mistakenly refused to renew our CVs because of Brexit and now with this ALD application.
What a load of bozos and not a sign of an apology.
Rude bozos.

Hi Jane,

I was wondering how you have got on with the new meds? I hope they have helped your asthma settle down?

The first injection of the biological treatment helped for a couple of weeks which is encouraging.
I was told that 90% of people benefit from this treatment.
What a shame that it is so expensive that your asthma has to become severe before it can be prescribed on ALD.
