Does CdS Article 50 make citizenship application any faster?

Hello everyone

Does anyone know if CdS Article 50 make citizenship application par décret any faster? (I’m in 06 if that matters)

Makes no difference whatsoever. If anything makes it less of a priority to process you case as have permanent residency.

Concurr. Son had to wait 4.5 years to get his papers finalised although covid did hold things up but his CDS Article 50 made no difference whatsoever nor being a fonc!

Wouldn’t you need the CdS anyway to prove legal residency to get the proverbial ball rolling?

You’d certainly need a CdS but not necessarily the Article 50 one.

But doesn’t matter which one, just that it’s valid.

I was assuming OP was talking about a 10 year WARP. But guess if one arrived just before cut off date for a WARP and got 5 years one which expires soon the you could have to jump hurdles. Th card has to be valid the day the dossier is accepted, not the day it is submitted. And you have to have a valid one at interiew which could be years away.
