Ah lovely, I am really a big furry fan but can fall in love with almost any dogs.

Just a smol boi (Obi Juan), waiting in the frigid cold for his cat nemesis to appear in the farm field on the other side of the fence. Said cat is no doubt spending their time in a warmer place this morning.

Charlie enjoyed running round the garden and playing in the snow earlier.

The problem with our Ruby is that she eats her sticks.

She took a liking to our chair legs when we first adopted her but fortunately for the chairs, she’s grown out of that habit but not so with her outdoor sticks.

My favorite chair - complete with puppy chew marks. They grow up so fast that I like the memory (and it’s my excuse for not cleaning the chair).

Not a doggy photo, but an interesting article. Your dog may be cleverer than you think. Some dogs can learn the names of a large bunch of toys and fetch a named toy when asked. But the majority of dogs can’t. Is your dog as clever as these masterminds?

I didn’t know where to post this but don’t mind if it’s posted elsewhere by a moderator?

Gracious! I always thought my curly girl Agnes was clever because she knows ~10 words. Maud has about three but I still love her just as much.

We call this ‘Bing Bong’ and it is one of Ruby’s favourite toys, together with ‘pap pap’ (similar to the photo below). That has a squeaking device in it and she knows where abouts to bite it so it makes a noise.

And when we say either ‘Bing Bong’ or ‘Pap Pap’ she finds it wherever it is. She’s not too clever with her other toys though and sometimes gets confused and picks up the wrong one but those two are her favourites. She was always jealous of Annie who also had a ‘pap pap’ but that was buried along with her in 2020. :dog:

Sit, stay & naughty!..?

:joy:

Sit! (Best when I actually have a treat in hand)

Up! (stairs or chair)

No! (As in stop that now.)

Not to confuse with “I know!” à la late Sybil Fawlty

That’s all for Maud :two_hearts:

Might be a bit retro-punky and instead go for Bow Wow Wow…

Gigi’s least favourite word is ‘Tigre’, our cat of whom she’s insanely jealous and often pretends to attack. The cat’s twice her size and just casually waves a paw in the air when Gigi charges at him, she jumps and spins round through 360° in mid-air while barking loudly. Then Tigre just shrugs it off and goes back to sleep.
