We are UK based - Garden and timber supplier (Ruby UK LTD) - looking to break into the french market to supply, field, entrance, side gates and other timber products ( Planters / Pergolas / Cladding) - we can make bespoke sizes as well.
Would there be a market for this do you think?

Big market in France already I am afraid. Probably a lot of red tape too now because of Brexit. Suggest you do a lot of thorough research before embarking on any sort of business here as there are all the social charges and other taxes to take into consideration before you even earn anything.

We get a lot of calls from France for people wanting to buy our gates, which has prompted the question, so its definitely something we wont look into without thorough research! thank you
We were keen to buy proper oak gates from the UK, but the costs and red tape proved prohibitive.
I used Jacksons fencing (Dover) who also have/had a french supply chain, might be worth taking a look at their setup.
I have been living in France for 29 years and I can purchase almost everything I wish in France or just pop over into Spain It would have to be something special, a one off unique to buy British, never the less best wishes for your future
