Dear friends,
I live in Spain and work as a chauffer driving between Spain and France. I recently had to update my Spanish drivers license, and they where supposed to send it in two weeks but its been almost a month now and I still haven’t received it. In the meantime they gave me a temporal / provisional drivers license which is valid in Spain.
Thing is, I desperately need to drive in France or else I could loose my job. I took out an international drivers permit
What can the penalties be in France for driving with my Spanish temporal drivers license + IDP ?
Can the Gendarmerie check that I do have a valid EU drivers license just not have it physically with me at the moment? could that soften the blow?
