Driving to Andalucia from France

I know, I know, we have only just got back to France and I am about to put my 3 car sick girls in the back of their dreaded BMVomit mobile and take them off to Andalucia. Yes and with the end tails of chicken pox too...wicked aren't I? Well it's a friend's wedding (the last of our bunch) and they are having it in Andalucia. So we are driving from Herault to La Joya in Andalucia.

Now we don't intend to do the full 14 hour drive in one go, our last London to Herault journey is too fresh in our minds for that, so we thought we would do two 7 hour stints with food breaks and 2 overnight stop overs. Question for you SFNers is...any recommendations - we reckon 7 hours on Day 1 gets us to near Valencia. Going into the City might be a bit much for a one night stay, we need secure onsite parking as our car will be rammed full for our week's holiday in Andalucia and the place we go MUST be family friendly. Any advice? Recommendations before/shortly after Valencia?

Then Day 2 we would like to do another 5-6 hours and stop over somewhere en route - so that on Day 3 we can arrive at our villa with only a 1-2 hour drive in the morning. Again - any recommendations? Cordoba looks like a reasonable bet.
