EDF Contract Resiliated!

We have had a contract with EDF for our cottage since 2004 on Tariff Bleu. I wondered why we have not had a recent request to enter our meter reading so I logged on to my Espace Client and it says that our contract was resiliated on 03/01/2014 and that our historic bills will be available to view for 60 days. We did not do anything to resiliate this contract! There was an item on the menu asking if we wanted to take out a new contract which I have now completed and am wondering if I will get a new client number and internet identification as the old ones still show the old details (that the account is resiliated). Anyone else had a problem like this?
