Electronic Instant voice translator no wifi required

Hi has anybody bought one of these and do they work ok and if so what make did you get thanks in advance

If I get stuck I use the DeepL app on my smart phone thanks to recommendations from SF members.

Hi Corona thank you for your reply but,I cannot get on with a smartphone I have one in a drawer (it’s an age thing) that’s why I am looking for a hand held with no wifi needed

I did a little exploring and found a translator device, albeit expensive. It can translate 144 languages on-line with a Wi-Fi connection, but it will translate in 10 of those languages off-line without the need for a Wi-Fi connection.

But you will need a Wi-Fi connection initially to download the languages, but once downloaded you can use it offline, without the need for a Wi-Fi connection, for these languages - English, French, Spanish, German, Russian and 5 oriental.
