Good luck with finding a home for them. We have twice had to take departed friends books to the tip, as despite adverts, nobody wanted them. They have big free books at Auchan, but manager, would not take any of ours.
Do you have an emmaus nearby ? They will take them?

We have those take-book-leave-a-book free cupboards in each village near us in 84. Two in my village! I frequently leave English books there and they disappear in market days.
