Entire Boeing 737 Max aircraft fleet grounded

I find air travel stressful enough, short haul only for me. I’d be interested in joining their incident management meetings to listen in and learn. The code was surely changed when the newer engines were fitted but being safety critical testing and simulations would have been exhaustive. Hopefully the defect will be identified and fixed but reputation is king in that trade especially. RIP those who have lost their lives :frowning:

This surprises me. I’d question why a software upgrade was being worked on after the 1st crash but the 737 fleet wasn’t grounded as a precaution?

Be careful Ryanair has bought an awful lot of these and will be calling them by another name.

It should have been a case of Boeing, Boeing, gone. Complete negligence.
