Estimate for reports for selling property, is it a fair price?

Hi

We are selling our home and have just received an estimate (enclosed) for the reports needed.

I have no idea if it is reasonable or not, any advice would be great as we have heard a few horror stories about prices

Thank you in advance

Looks about ok, but if they decide you need an extra insulation inspection then you get an extra charge, and then they told us no extra visit needed but atill got charged.

Ours was 560

This is 980 so a lot more

How big is the house?

That must be including the insulation audit as well

Don’t forget that the Energy Audit will only be necessary IF the DPE result turns out to be E,F,or G.
So if your house is reasonably insulated, and thus you are allotted a D rating or better on the DPE, then the total charge will be 440 + 90 = 530 which seems fairly reasonable. (I paid over 300 for just a DPE on a 1 bed flat some years ago which did not include asbestos or electrical checks.)

We paid 619E three years ago for a large 4 bed house so that seems a lot even allowing for inflation.

I paid just under €1000 at end of 2021, he took over four hours to do the inspection and it was over 40 pages when the Notaire printed it out for me, I had already got an offer on the house regardless but it was obligatory to have this done.
