Fingers crossed,we get back in the EU ASAP,before the next GE,just in case a certain person gets in to power.
We won’t and the prospect of a “certain person” getting into power should give the EU pause for thought before letting us back in - the last thing they need is the UK as a hokey-cokey member depending on who is in N° 10.
Also, done properly a referendum to rejoin would need a 60+% majority. When faced with an actual vote people might not respond as favourably as in an opinion poll. Especially if the price of rejoining would be adoption of the €
In fact I’d think twice about voting “Re-join” if that were the price.
