Hi - my husband submitted his driving licence for exchange to French DL in Feb 2025. This application has been rejected aug 2025)
- the licence has since expired. Can he make another submission??

I’m by no means an expert on this, but it’s most unusual to have an application rejected. What reason did they give for the rejection?
Did they say why it was rejected?

I had my first application rejected for having an old photo (older than six months) and the scans of my U.K. driving licence photocard and my CdS had clipped the corners.
Reapplied with better scans and a new photo taken professionally with an online code and it went by the numbers.
There’s an FB group with an excellent guide on this that Herself used to prevent issues on the reapplication.
Yes indeed - @kim has done a brilliant job for lots of us on there! It tends to be closed for posting (I think) at the weekends but if @cathcrerar would like the link, it might be the best way forward.

Hello Cath, why was his application rejected, it would help to know to give you the correct advice.
Also what licence does he hold as the rules are different depending on this information.

Hi Kim thanks for the reply. I am checking on that this morning. I have received an email to send in another application with attachments and will get that together. I have a feeling it was the photo??
